One Sandwich at a Time urges others to do what they can to help. We want to motivate individuals to donate time, food, and ideas to help us help the homeless and underfed, and raise awareness and empathy for their struggles.

A Grassroots Effort
One Sandwich at a Time was founded by Erin Dinan - one person who recognized that the simple act of making a sandwich could make a difference. Hundreds have joined the cause and thousands have been fed as a result.

Our work has been honored and recognized by E-Town Radio, The United Nations, and Godiva Chocolate's "Lady Godiva Program", helping us gain visibility and continue feeding those in need!

We gather monthly to make sandwiches! If you are not able to attend an event, you can donate to our cause in multiple ways, and we encourage you to do what you can to help; to simply make a sandwich, hand it to a person in need, and know that you had a direct impact on another's life.
We may not be able to solve this crisis today, but at least we can help another human being make it to their next meal.

We can help you organize events in your local area to help the homeless, hungry and anyone needing a helping hand.
We will be launching an extension program to grow our organization and help even more people. Stay tuned!

There is so much you can do to help! To enable our mission, we need sandwich-making supplies (bread, peanut butter, jelly, cold cuts, cheese, etc.) as well as spaces to hold our events and volunteers. We also work with schools and corporations.

While the act of making sandwiches is simple, the cost of holding our events, buying supplies and distributing sandwiches to those who need them is costly.
